AL2007
Agrilight has developed a series of electronic lights for different types of livestock. These lights have been specially developed to provide efficient, uniform lighting in livestock buildings up to 24 metres wide, from just one row of lights. The use of just one row, and consequently a small number of lights, means low investment and reduced annual costs regarding installation and maintenance in comparison with fluorescent lighting for example.
The AL2007 can be used for lighting livestock buildings, regardless of the type of construction, storage units and agricultural buildings. The AL2007 is available with a High Pressure Sodium or Metal Halide lamp in 250 and 400 Watt models. A special, dimmable 70 Watt model, called the ALPL70D is available specifically for poultry.
The AL2007 can be supplied in both dimmable and standard models. The fitting uses an electronic ballast which enables the light to be dimmed. This makes the light level easier to regulate so the lamp performs better. Energy usage drops proportionally when the lighting is dimmed and this gives considerable savings in energy costs.
Agrilight's dimmable light comes under the Energy Investment Deduction (EIA) regulation since 1 January, 2004. According to the 210501 regulation, when the existing lights are replaced with dimmable AL2007 lights, 44% of the investment can be deducted from taxable income. Exceptional heat management
The housings of both the AL2007 and the ALPL70D lights are mainly manufactured from aluminium. The choice of aluminium contributes to the exceptional heat management, which again ensures that the components used have a long working life. Stainless steel was chosen for the parts that are screwed or used for suspension.
Low installation and maintenance costs
These lights have an intelligent, click-system for the installation brackets, which saves a lot of time and manpower during installation. The louvres on the rear of this light give extra air circulation on all sides. This, in combination with the round upper side, means that dirt will stick to the unit less quickly.
Optimum light distribution
The integrated spirit level ensures that the lights are very easy to install level. This means that you are certain that the light will have optimum intensity and distribution.
