The ALPL70D is a dustproof and waterproof fitting for the 70 Watt fluorescent lamp. The ALPL70D is a robust fitting that has been specially developed for use in poultry houses. The fitting uses an electronic ballast, which gives it a high frequency start-up and means that it can be dimmed from 100% to 3%. This makes the light level easier to regulate and the lamp performs better. Energy usage drops proportionally when the lighting is dimmed and this gives considerable savings in energy costs. A patented reflector ensures that no shadows are created when the light is dimmed. No shadows in the poultry house means better distribution of the poultry and less forming of clusters. Having less cluster forming means fewer wet patches in the poultry house which reduces the chances of infection.

The ALPL70D fittings can be controlled with the IFL-10R.
